Local Field Trips
Field trips are an essential part of the learning process in the MSSST programme, where students are given the opportunity to observe and learn from real-life situations, acquire valuable experiences, and put knowledge into practice. Over the years, the programme has brought students to numerous rural and urban sites in Hong Kong, including Mai Po Nature Reserve, Hong Kong Wetland Park, Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park, Lai Chi Wo, Ngong Ping and Tai O Village, Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve, Sha Tau Kok, Shau Kei Wan, Tung Ping Chau, Yim Tin Tsai, Tao Fung Shan and Chi Lin Nunnery.

Overseas Field Trips
Apart from local field trips, an overseas field trip is also organized every academic year. Students
of the MSSST programme have been to Mainland China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Spain and France in the past decade, where they took active parts in understanding specific contexts of the tourism industry, analyzing the development and management of tourism, and conducting their own researches by collecting and
interpreting data and information.
